Privacy Policy

We're a small, early-access product built by a single family team, and this policy is written to plainly describe what we actually do today — not boilerplate. It will be reviewed by counsel before any wider public launch, and we'll update this page whenever that changes.

Who this covers

This policy applies to parent accounts and the managed child profiles parents create within Kids Growth OS (“the app”). A parent or legal guardian creates and controls every child profile — children never create their own account.

What we collect

Parent account: name, email address, and password (stored hashed, never in plain text).

Child profile: first name, an avatar you choose, a 4-digit PIN (stored hashed), and the activity data generated by using the app — assigned tasks, quiz answers and scores, points earned, streaks, and reward redemptions.

How we use it

To run the growth/reward loop itself: assigning tasks, grading quizzes, tracking points and streaks.
To show parents an accurate view of their child's progress.
To operate account security (login, session tokens, PIN verification).

We never use your child's data for advertising or behavioral tracking, and we never sell it to third parties. There are no ad networks or trackers in this app.

Children's data & parental consent

Because this app is built for children, we ask for verifiable parental consent before creating a managed child profile, consistent with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). During onboarding, the parent confirms they are the child's parent or legal guardian, consents to the processing described above, and confirms they understand the no-ads/no-tracking commitment.

A parent can review, correct, or delete their child's data at any time from Settings, or by contacting us directly (below). Deleting a child's profile permanently removes their activity data.

Data storage & security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and access to the underlying database is restricted. As an early-access product, our infrastructure is intentionally small — we'll expand our security practices (and this section) as the product and its user base grow.

Third parties

We don't share your family's data with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics networks. Our infrastructure providers (hosting, database) process data only to run the app, under standard processor terms.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your family's data at any time. To close your account entirely, contact us and we'll delete your parent account and every child profile under it.

Changes to this policy

If we materially change how we handle your data, we'll notify parents in-app before the change takes effect, not just by quietly editing this page.
